Portugal captain, Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed happiness after helping his team to qualify for Euro 2024.
Ronaldo scored twice as Portugal defeated Slovakia 3-2 in Friday’s Euro 2024 qualifier.
The match was played at the Dragao stadium in Porto.
Reacting, Ronaldo, who currently plays his club football for Al-Nassr, wrote on Instagram:
“We’re at EURO 2024! Very happy to help Portugal reach another final stage of a great competition.
“A special thanks to the Portuguese Football Federation and to the fans present at the stadium for the beautiful tribute!”
Meanwhile, Goncalo Ramos did score for Portugal against Slovakia.
Portugal, France and Belgium are now the three latest countries to join the host Germany in the competition.
